TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read and understand these Terms & Conditions before making an actual payment. The purchase of any travel services offered by Open Heart Journeys such as tour packages, airline tickets, hotel accommodation, travel insurance, and cruise packages constitute an arrangement between you and the company and represents your acceptance of the Company’s Terms & Conditions set out herein.
BOOKING
Each offer has its own validity. Be sure to check the validity of each package as 30 day advanced booking is required. Rates are per person and subject to change without prior notice. Hotel rooms, tours, and flights are always subject to availability. Itineraries are subject to change without prior notice which may be brought about by force majeure, government mandated changes, weather conditions, flight changes, and the like. Open Heart Journeys is not responsible for any last-minute itinerary change by the tour operator for whatever reason they may have. Once you’ve made your booking, you will be given a payment due date. Failure to pay on or before the said due date will result in cancellation of your booking. Name change is strictly prohibited. Make sure to provide the correct passenger details.
FORMS OF PAYMENT
Open Heart Journeys accepts cash payment, bank deposit, credit card payment, Venmo, Paypal and Wise. Open Heart Journeys is not held liable if slots would no longer be available at the time of reservation if the payment processing time is late to clear. Please be advised that inter-bank transfers may take 3-5 days.
PAYMENT THROUGH CREDIT CARD
Credit card surcharges may apply to payments made by credit card. In the event you pay by credit card, but the services are not provided by a third-party provider of travel services or products, you agree that you will not take steps to charge back your payment to Open Heart Journeys.
BANK FEES / SURCHARGES
Some banks and credit cards impose fees for international transactions. Your bank may convert the payment amount to your local currency and charge you a conversion fee. Due to this, the amount listed on your credit or bank card statement may be in your local currency which is a different figure than the figure shown on the billing summary page for a reservation booked on this Website.
A foreign transaction fee may be also assessed if the bank that issued your credit card is located outside of Indonesia. Booking international travel may be considered an international transaction by your bank or credit card company.
The currency exchange rate and foreign transaction fee is determined solely by your bank on the day that they process the transaction. If you have any questions about these fees or the exchange rate applied to your booking, please contact your bank or credit card company.
CANCELLATION OF BOOKING
Cancellation of booking, refunds and rebooking will not be accepted once the booking is finalized. No refund will be given to any non-utilized part of the travel arrangements DBAC. Open Heart Journeys offers refunds commensurate with the policies of suppliers engaged for personal travel, including tours, air and cruises. Open Heart Journeys is not liable for any airline cancellation, reschedule, or delay for any reason. If you purchased your airline ticket with us, we would try to assist in making new arrangements providing you have not yet checked in with your airline for your first flight segment. Please be aware airline fees often apply for modifications to air schedules not related to airline-imposed flight cancellations, reschedules or delays. These fees will be payable to the airline directly at time of request. If you miss your departure flight or connection, it is your responsibility to work with the airline on which you are ticketed to reach your destination.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Open Heart Journeys acts merely as an agent for suppliers in selling travel-related services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for services that are not directly supplied by this agency (such as air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.). Open Heart Journeys shall not be responsible for breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay or injury to you or your travel companions or group members. Unless the term “guaranteed” is specifically stated in writing on your tickets, invoice or reservation itinerary, we do not guarantee any of such suppliers’ rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling or handling of personal effects.
Open Heart Journeys shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with any terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, criminal acts or abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the agent’s control. It will be required that each client participating in any portion of programing sign our travel authorization waiver no less than 15 days prior to arrival. This document must be notarized by an authorized authority and received by Open Heart Journeys prior to commencement of travel.
Travelers assume complete and full responsibility for, and hereby release the agent from any duty of, checking and verifying all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety or security conditions at such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel.
